Moments ago, Chrome (beta) for Android just got an update to version 0.18.4409.2396, which adds support for more languages, adds some features and and fixes several bugs.
Back in February, Google released Chrome for Android and has since been working to improve the application thanks to feedback from users. On this day, the fastest browser of all has been updated adding support for a total of 31 languages and the following features:
- You can now apply for the desktop version of a site, if you can not see it in the mobile version.
- Now you can add bookmarks as shortcuts to the Home screen, allowing access to our favorite sites faster.
- Choose your favorite applications to manage the links open in Chrome.
- Chrome can now use the system proxy settings configured via WiFi.
Chrome for Android for now only available for phones and tablets running Android 4.0. The browser is free and can be downloaded from the following widget.
